Give the gift of cycling to Leicestershire children with our Leicestershire Bike Bank

Families can now donate their old or unwanted bicycles to Choose How You Move for our new Leicestershire Bike Bank.
We are accepting bikes in any condition, from ages 7 and upwards – whether broken, unused, or replaced by new bikes over the holidays.
You can donate your old and unwanted bikes at two of our recycling and household waste sites on the following dates:
- Sunday 9 and Monday 10 August – Loughborough
- Sunday 16 and Monday 17 August – Kibworth
Children’s bicycles will be refurbished and then used for Active Together’s ‘Set, Pedal, Go!’, lending bikes to school children that don’t have their own so they can learn essential cycling skills like their classmates.
