Rot-a-Lot

Cartoon of a compost binThe free to join Rot-a-Lot Compost Club is helping more and more people enjoy the composting process. It holds regular workshops around the County giving people the opportunity to engage with experts and fellow composters; enabling them to ask questions face to face, and find out how they can improve or maximise their composting.

Club members will be kept up-to-date with club news and composting events through regular newsletters; past editions of which are available below. Residents joining the club will receive a new member’s pack to help get the most from their compost bins featuring a kitchen caddy with biodegradable liners and a comprehensive guide to composting.

The club also offers a dedicated e-mail address (compost@leics.gov.uk) and telephone advice for confused composters (0116 305 0001).

Anyone interested in joining the club can join by e-mailing their details to compost@leics.gov.uk including the following:
