There are lots of places to find second hand furniture and household items, not only are you getting a bargain, it’s also a great way to reuse something that might have gone to waste!

Furniture Reuse Projects

There are several Furniture Reuse Projects across Leicestershire that take donated furniture, household and electrical items and sell them on to others at a low price. You can find dining tables, beds and sofas all at bargain prices.

Buy Second Hand

Second hand items are often cheaper than buying brand new and can be in great condition. Try looking at online websites, in local newspapers and at local charity shops or car boots for household items such as TV’s, lamps, cushions and other decorative items.

Get Household Items for Free!

Freeuseit.org is a great website where residents’ can give and take items all for free. There are often TV’s, tables and even sofa’s available for free.

Family and friends may also have items they no longer need which they are happy to give to you for free.
