International day of forests – 21st March
March 21, 2017
A forest the size of Wales is cut down each year to keep up with our demand for paper in the UK. The more paper we recycle, the less trees need to be chopped down.
Today, and hopefully every day, make a point of buying paper products with a high recycled fibre content, and also make a commitment to recycle as much paper as you can as part of your everyday routine.
If you are really passionate – why not think about becoming a tree warden for your local area. More info here.
